FIFA 22 has today launched title update 5 on PC and Stadia platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. First of all, it’s important to note that while fans on consoles won’t have to wait long for the update, as these updates usually head to other platforms within a week or two of dropping on PC and Stadia. Apparently Square Enix has yet another Final Fantasy offshoot in their future. Found in Europe’s trademark database by Siliconera, Final Fantasy Type-0 was found. Alongside the name, Square Enix also filed a logo for the game. And as noted by Siliconera, the normal procedure for filing a game would be to trademark the name of the title. And since they filed the logo as well, this could be a flagship title for the company....

Final Fantasy VII Remake has been shown, after a long wait, at the E3 2019 Square Enix media briefing, and as someone would say it was breathtaking. The bad news is that episodes outside of the first part releasing in March 2020 could take a long while before they drop. We reported about Yoshinori Kitase, producer, not knowing about how many episodes there would be after the first, which is a crazy thing to think about since you’d hope for certain things to be considered before embarking on such a big and bold project of an episodic remake....

The French JRPG Edge of Eternity is getting a physical release for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 this February. Midgar Studio announced that physical copies will be coming to Europe on February 10th. French company Just For Games will be co-publishing the release and handling distribution throughout Europe. Edge of Eternity originally released digitally in June of last year. Take a look at the PC launch trailer below. The Edge of Eternity physical release will receive all future updates, including the new Japanese dubbing....

Bethesda’s Todd Howard sat down to discuss the weapons in Elder Scrolls V Skyrim and since he knows we’ve all been waiting with bated breath for clarification on some of the game’s finer points, he also addressed the perk system in the upcoming RPG as well. While details on Skyrim have been slim, this should hold you until the next information comes available in the near future. “Each skill has its own perk tree,” Howard said....

Finally, a fair fight. When Warzone 2 DMZ Season 2 launches, enemies and missions in DMZ will be easier. One of the biggest complaints about DMZ is that the missions and enemies are way too difficult. Since DMZ is technically still in its beta, Season 2 will implement a tweak to the overall difficulty of the game that is much needed. In an interesting Christmas surprise, Escape From Tarkov has received a new trailer today! The somewhat Stalker inspired multiplayer survival shooter released a new trailer today, highlighting the tension and drama that appears to be inherent in trying to rummage through some rusty old lockers in search of a bandage. It has to be said; visually the game certainly is a treat. There is a lot of ambiance and atmosphere in the setting, which plays nicely into the tension of never quite knowing when a bullet might come your way....

With all the new content being added to the newest update, we can see why Mojang decided to split the Caves & Cliffs update into two parts. This update comes with a complete overhaul to world generation, as well as some added mechanics that completely change the atmosphere of the world as you explore. Ghostrunner is an upcoming action-platformer from One More Level, 3D Realms, and Slipgate Ironworks. Set in a cyberpunk universe, you control a wall-running, sword-wielding parkour master who can jump, climb, and sprint their way to destruction. With a blend of post-apocalyptic and sci-fi, the neon lights and rainy buildings feel like a unique environment in which the player can run around. If Mirror’s Edge’s phenomenal parkour gameplay was combined with the highly attractive first-person swordplay and abilities of the Dishonored franchise, you’d end up with Ghostrunner....

While you may not need to have a crafter or gatherer at level 20 to unlock access to the Ishgardian Restoration, you will need one to contribute towards the cause....

What exactly are you supposed to do here? When players arrive in Garlemald in Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker, they’ll come across a quest called “In From the Cold” that has a very peculiar solo duty. This quest happens as things are winding down in Garlemald and the Scions are planning their next move against Fandaniel and Zenos, but the duo has other plans in mind for the Warrior of Light. In this quest, you play as an Unknown Imperial and must find your way back to Camp Broken Glass before the time limit expires....

As we discussed in our normal shot guide, the power of your shot can be the very difference in scoring a goal and it either flying way above the goalpost or right into the goalkeeper’s hands. By default, FIFA 20 does not offer any sort of shot meter to help show how powerful your shot is while winding up to shoot, but there is a way to activate this option within the game....

The first of these is Javier Zanetti. Inter Milan fans will remember the Argentinian’s 19-year career at the club, and this card captures his performance at the 2010 FIFA Club World Cup where he connected with Diego Milito to lift the cup....

Final Fantasy fans already have Final Fantasy XV and the Final Fantasy VII remake to look forward to. Now they can add the PC, iOS, and Android release of Final Fantasy IX to their list. Square Enix announced the release of Final Fantasy IX to PC and mobile device via its Japanese website on Thursday. This will mark the first time the game has been available outside of PlayStation consoles. The game was first released to the PSOne in 2000 followed by a PlayStation Classic release for the PS3 in 2010....
