Final Fantasy XIV’s combat has gone through major iterations over the course of its existence, and not everything has always worked out perfectly during this time. A major part of job balance up to now has been making sure melee jobs are given more damage output over ranged jobs to account for having to be near the boss in order to do damage. In an effort to make the game more user friendly and accessible, the team has designed all recent boss encounters to be more melee friendly, but have yet to bridge the damage gap between melee and ranged jobs to compensate for it....

These simple tweaks would make a world of difference. World of Warcraft: Shadowlands may be less than a month old, but thus far its been an excellent expansion to Blizzard’s long-running MMO. Flipkart has now lost both of its founding members. While Flipkart Group chairman Sachin Bansal had quit right after the company’s acquisition by WalMart earlier this year, Flipkart Group CEO Binny has now resigned post “an allegation of serious personal misconduct” in an independent investigation, according to a Reuters report. This had led to some minor changes in the leadership as well. Kalyan Krishnamurthy will continue to be CEO of Flipkart and Sameer Nigam will still helm PhonePe, however, they will now directly be answerable to the company’s board instead of Bansal....

The young action-role-playing game, Forspoken, has received its first update, 1.02 Patch Notes, and we have introduced the complete list of changes. Square Enix published the young game, developed by Luminous Productions, on January 24, 2023. At this time, Forspoken is accumulating mixed reviews from players globally. Most players seem to agree that the introduction to the game may need more work. However, most players who have excelled past the first chapter are coming to a consensus that the game has potential and it is, in fact, fun to play....

Epic Games’ MOBA Paragon will be closing down on April 26, the developer announced today. The company said the game had struggled to retain players. The announcement comes in the wake of the huge success of another Epic Games title, Fortnite: Battle Royale, which just recently hit a milestone of 45 million players. As resources at the company have shifted focus onto the popular title, it appears that the need to work on Paragon has waned....

Epic Games and IO Interactive are in talks, presumably investigating a way to allow those who purchased Steam versions of Hitman to play previous games in the trilogy in Hitman 3 after IO revealed that you can’t import between storefronts. Hitman 3, which is due for release next week, is the last in the World of Assassination trilogy which started with the 2016 version of the game....

Liftoff in T-2 days! After an amazing first season, Mediatonic is all set to release Fall Guys Season 2. Initially slated for an August launch, the new season was delayed for a short period of time. Microsoft and Bethesda have revealed the official release date for Fallout 4 mods on Xbox One. The new feature will arrive for free on May 31st to all players on the console, with PS4 players having to wait an undetermined amount of time after, with a possible release date in June. Fallout 4 mods will allow players to download user created modifications for their game. The mods will be created on PC, where players have been able to use the mods for some time, but in a series first, players on console will also get to enjoy the fun....

Bandai Namco released a new trailer for Blue Protocol, where the characters could be seen riding strange wolf-like mounts. The fans immediately noticed something odd, however. The mounts seemed to have a rather strange element in their animation, moving in a stiff and unnatural manner. In the argument among fans, it was pointed out that the mounts that appear in the trailer aren’t wolves at all. The main reason the animation looked odd was that it was presumed that it was a wolf-like creature....

Far Cry 5 is just over two months away from its release date and Ubisoft has now revealed the system requirements and specs needed for the game to run well on the PC. Considering that vast variety of hardware configurations out there these days, Ubisoft have provided several different system requirements to give you an idea of what kind of performance to expect from your rig. It’s a nice touch and I hope to see more of this trend in the future....
