Fantasy Life, the life simulation RPG from Level-5, was a decent hit when it released on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan in 2012 and around the world last year. However, it looks like the series is in for a pretty major change as the developer has announced that Fantasy Life 2: Two Moons and the Village of God will be released on smartphones, forgoing the 3DS platform altogether. According to Siliconera, the announcement was made during Level-5’s Ongoing Vision 2015 event....

Update 12 is here Update 1.17 has arrived for FIFA 21, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. This is the March 18th update that should now be available for all platforms. This same update was released for the PC version of FIFA 21 earlier this month. On PS4, the file size is 2.7GB. Even though there are no more Team of the Weeks in FIFA 22, the Silver Stars Objectives challenge in FUT live on. A new Silver Stars challenge was added on June 1, as users can now grind toward a 74 OVR Team of the Season (TOTS) Moments player item of KV Mechelen midfielder Nikola Storm. This TOTS Moments Storm player item is a part of the 1A Pro League Team of the Season event, which went live during the weekend of May 27....

With EA Sports celebrating the ongoing European club competitions over the past few weeks, we’ve received several new live cards in the form of Road to the Knockouts players. On October 23, EA added one more to the mix via SBC. This time around, it’s Napoli’s Matteo Politano with a solid upgrade on his base card. If his squad can maintain their league form, he should be good for at least one upgrade....

Not only will Heavensward add to the ever growing story but it will also be adding so much more content. One of the biggest announcements was the reveal of the new tanking class, Dark Knight. The Dark Knight will use the power of darkness along with a greatsword to destroy his/her foes. They also said that this class will be the first job that will not need a base class which means that you will no longer have to get a job to level 30 and a sub job to 15 in order to have access to this class....

Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata has announced at Gamescom 2017 what is maybe the most unexpected iteration of the game that we could imagine. Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition is a fully realized remake of the console game especially adapted for mobile devices, featuring a cartooney artstyle much less graphically demanding than the prime version. Pocket Edition is launching this fall for iOS, Android, and Windows 10, and will tell the full story of Final Fantasy XV in 10 downloadable episodes, with the first one being available for free....

The Switch gets another must-have game. Fire Emblem may have begun its life as a Japan-only phenomenon but ever since Awakening on the 3DS it has become one of Nintendo’s biggest franchises. Fire Emblem: Three Houses marks the franchise’s debut on the Switch and comes with a lot of anticipation and some high expectations, given the exceptional quality of the series’ handheld entries. Could this return to home consoles following a 12 year absence bring the series to even loftier heights than it achieved on handheld platforms?...

NPD Group’s Mat Piscatella has shared several considerations about games commercial performances for 2019 and what consequences those are going to have on the industry in the longer term. Last year, in particular, remarked that the time when digital games were only adding revenues on top of the biggest share coming from retail is over since digital has proved to be the biggest source of income for platform owners. Piscatella said that the “era of organic total market growth based on expanded digital reach is over,” hinting at digital now ‘stealing’ sales away from the retail market, differently from the recent past....

Edgar Wright’s new film, Last Night in Soho, has received a US release date. The film will release on September 25th, 2020. No news on a UK release date, but the feature is in the hands of Universal in the UK and should release pretty close to the above mentioned US release. A Departure for Wright The film is quite the depart from Wright’s previous outings. Known for his sense of humor and seamless editing, this time it seems that he is taking a more serious tone....

“Legendary Sorceries and Incantations” is an achievement in Elden Ring, acquired once a Tarnished adventurer has collected every Legendary Spell in the Lands Between. These Spells include the mage’s one-shot laser beam, Comet Azur, and beautifully animated Elden Stars. There are a total of seven Legendary Sorceries and Incantations in Elden Ring, and all of them take up more than a single Spell Slot, excluding Stars of Ruin. Naturally, the Spells all require exceptionally high stat requirements, so Tarnished travelers must ensure they have the proper attribute allocation if they aim to memorize and cast the abilities....

Where did the falling star land in Elden Ring? After defeating Starscourge Radahn in Elden Ring, an entirely new area will open up on the map. Some Xbox Fortnite players have been reporting sound glitches since yesterday. In some cases, the sound is stuttering, lagging, or choppy, and in others, the sound keeps cutting out, or else the sound is not working at all. There are currently no reports of audio issues on any other platform. PlayStation and PC are fine. The bug may only be affecting Xbox One and not Xbox Series X. Players have reported that, in some cases, closing then reopening the game fixes the problem....
