The fighting game news continues to roll in after the conclusion of Evo 2022. With the recent announcement from SNK being the return of the classic Fatal Fury series after 23 years. In addition to a new FIFA 22 Team of the Week, a fresh Silver Stars Objectives challenge was added to FUT on May 11. Users can now grind toward a 74 OVR Team of the Season (TOTS) Moments player item of midfielder Gustavo Hamer. Recently it was discovered that Square Enix filed a trademark for Final Fantasy Type – 0. It has now been brought to light by SilconEra that there were three other filings related to the possible new franchise. Type -1, Type -2, and Type -3 have also been filed making this look like a new franchise with possible sequels in the works. Square filed a protective trademark for the three but didn’t register the domain names like they did for Final Fantasy Type – 0....

Final Fantasy XIV introduced the Crystalline Conflict, a new PvP mode alongside Patch 6.1 for the popular MMO. This 5v5 mode pits players against one another in a competitive setting. Not only can players fight against other users, but the Crystalline Conflict will have competitive seasons. Square Enix announced the launch of the first season of Crystalline Conflict on Apr. 15. Players of any role can partner up for this objective-based game mode to push your team’s crystal through the enemy team’s territory....

The first reactions to Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings are here! Disney’s latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe debuted last night at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theater. The event was attended by the usual big wigs, the stars of the film, and the original “Mandarin” actor from Iron Man 3, Ben Kingsley. Official reviews of Shang-Chi will not be out until next week. One of the best new mechanics introduced to the FromSoftware formula is undoubtedly the Spirit Summon Ashes. These items allow you to summon special NPC companions to aid you in battle. One of the earliest Spirit Ashes that the player can come across is Banished Knight Oleg, an armor-clad knight that dual-wields swords with ice-infused attacks. While this Ash can help you get in many of the areas in the early game, getting your hands on the Spirit Ash is quite difficult for those who try to get it as soon as possible....

One of the best weapons you can get your hands on in Elden Ring is the Blasphemous Blade. This greatsword is lined with the remnants of past heroes and has one of the hardest-hitting Weapon Skills in the game, Taker’s Flame.
