About Forspoken
Frey Holland is a New York City girl who never seemed to fit in. At one point, she finds herself in the strange land of Athia after a mysterious transportation. In Athia, Frey meets bizarre cultures, people, and places.
In this land, Frey discovers her ability to cast powerful spells and use magic to traverse the sprawling landscapes. Using her magical sentient bracelet, the “cuff,” Frey sets on a journey to get back home.
During this journey, she learns that Athia was once a peaceful land under the reign of benevolent matriarchs, The Tantas. However, a devastating blight later affected the lands turning men into monsters, animals into beasts, and the bountiful environs into four dangerous realms.
Frey, at the request of the few unaffected citizens, embarks on the treacherous mission to save the land of Athia from the corrupt minds.
Square Enix has published Forspoken on PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Windows. Today’s patch notes are available on Forspoken’s Steam page.
