Developer Luminous Productions has made the uneasy announcement that Forspoken has been delayed to January 24, 2023, and will no longer release in 2022 as expected. This is not the first that Forspoken has been delayed, previously being pushed back to October 11, 2022.
This news comes via the official Forspoken Twitter and states, “As a result of ongoing discussions with key partners, we have made the strategic decision to move the launch date of Forspoken to January 24, 2023.” The tweet further details all game elements are complete, and Forspoken is in the final stage of polishing.
Fans have eagerly been looking forward to this action RPG and the delightful world that we have only seen glimpses of. The tweet does mention that fans can look forward to more information about the title in summer of 2022.
Forspoken follows Frey, a young woman from modern New York who has been transported into a strange and mysterious fantasy world. Players can explore the world and fight dangerous foes using various magical capabilities and stylish combat.
