It’s been reported that former Jackass star Bam Margera is missing post-fleeing rehab. The former reality TV star had been staying at a rehab facility in Florida. He had reported his unhappiness with the place, and then he fled. This is not long after he had told the manager he was, indeed, going to leave. The problem was that he was there by court-ordered mandate. This means now the police are looking for him as well. Apparently, you can take the star out of Jackass, but you can’t always take the Jackass out of the star.
Bam Margera is Missing
One thing that seemed to set Margera off was the fact he broke his elbow skateboarding there and insisted the facility did not set up physical therapy for him. The star was said to have been doing well after a solid year of rehabilitation up to this point. Sadly, this seems like a ‘one step forward, two steps back’ situation. He was making progress but undid it all with one bad choice.
Another thing to note is this is precisely what happened to Kurt Cobain before we got the news he had passed. He bailed rehab, then was found dead. We can only pray that this doesn’t play out the same way. Thankfully the staff said he seemed to be no danger to himself.
It seems the former Jackass star Bam Margera just wanted out, so he left. This is by no means the first former Jackass star to have a troubled past. From the loss of Ryan Dunn to Steve-O’s battles with addiction, the cast definitely has some demons, which makes sense when you remember these guys kind of hurt themselves for fun.
But we are confident this situation will work itself out soon. But how this scenario plays out legally remains to be seen.
