Forgotten Fables- Wolves on the Westwind stars two protagonists named Alrik and Nadime. Unfortunately, both characters are forced into a battle to save the world of Aventuria from a powerful evil. According to today’s announcement:
Visual novels rely heavily on the player’s choices, and, unsurprisingly, this is true for Wolves on the Westwind as well. Today’s announcement promises a branching narrative and good replay value, with 15+ hours of gameplay.
The Dark Eye series has almost four decades of content behind it. Therefore, Wolves on the Westwind has a lot of material to work with. However, the game also has some pretty big shoes to fill. It will be interesting to see how this visual novel incorporates elements of other The Dark Eye media.
