Football Manager 2022 has today launched its November 16 update on all platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with today’s patch. To get the elephant out of the room, I wouldn’t suggest going into today’s update expecting the whole nine yards. The game only released a week ago, so there hasn’t been enough time to develop new content or make massive, sweeping changes. With that being said, there are some considerable fixes worth considering. These mainly center around crashes, but include some other things as well. Without further adieu, here’s everything new with Football Manager 2022 in its November 16 update!

Football Manager 2022 November 16 Update Patch Notes

  • Crash fixes and stability improvements.
  • Optimisation of a number of in-game screens to allow speedier movement through the game including, but not limited to: Loading Tactics, Data Hub, Scouting Assignments and the Inbox
  • Competition and rule group fixes and improvements, including within Chile, England, France, Peru and Russia
  • Reactivated scrolling using up/down arrows when inbox selected

And for the Xbox exclusive change in this update:

  • Xbox Edition Only: Including an issue where the game would crash around the 13th January 2022 (please note: this unfortunately may require a new save) & a crash that would occur in some instances when accepting invites to Versus Mode.

All around, there’s a fair amount of fixes in today’s update. Nothing that’ll have you running home to tell everyone about it, but things that are nice for those still enjoying this management simulator. The fix for the Xbox edition is admittedly a tad specific and confusing, though it’s good to see it fixed regardless. Same for optimization and crash fixes, to that the game feels just a little more predictable and less frustrating.
