Focus Home Interactive is a studio best known for some of the better titles in recent memory, including soulslike The Surge, vampire RPG Vampyr, plagued adventure A Plague Tale: Innocence, and many more! The teams under Focus Home Interactive’s wing have brought about a host of excellent, original experiences that captivate. While I haven’t played too many of the titles under their wing, I plan to play a good handful of them in the future. And today, the team has some interesting news to share. Focus Home Interactive, from today onward, will now be known as Focus Entertainment and have its game branding as such. They took to their official website blog to celebrate the news.
Focus had this to say regarding the new “Focus Entertainment” label and what it means for the publisher and its future:
While they’ll no longer be Focus Home Interactive, Focus Entertainment is still aiming to bring players quality, unique experiences and will do so for the foreseeable future. They’re a publisher to be reckoned with, as the titles under their belt have received immense praise (A Plague Tale: Innocence’s reception being a very strong indicator of this). It’ll be interesting to see what they create going forward, with titles like World War Z: Aftermath currently on the horizon. Rest assured, when they do announce additional new projects, you can be sure we’ll be here to cover them.
