Maximum Games and developer Pulsatrix Studios are here to deliver the new indie horror experience known as Fobia – St. Dinfna Hotel. The game will be available today for PC and consoles, and there’s a demo on Steam if you want to try it out first. Additionally, since Fobia – St. Dinfna Hotel comes out today, there’s a launch trailer for players to check out.
The Past, Present, and Future Collide in Fobia – St. Dinfna Hotel
Roberto Leite Lopes is a journalist who travels to Santa Catarina to investigate the mysterious atmosphere of the St. Dinfna Hotel. People have gone missing, and there are rumors of strange, otherworldly activity. This all sparks from a simple tip his friend gave, but our protagonist doesn’t know what he’s getting into.
He’ll need to step into the unknown, only to be in the presence of a maniacal cult. Grotesque creatures lurk among the shadows, and ghosts roam the halls. But everything suddenly flips when he discovers a camera that allows him to see through different timelines. This will help players navigate through the titular hotel while solving puzzles along the way. This might sound similar to the world of Outlast, but the players can fight back if they choose to do so. It’s all through the first-person perspective, so it’s up to you whether you fight or flee; just remember to scoop up any critical supplies for your survival.
As aforementioned, there’s a launch trailer for Fobia – St. Dinfna Hotel, and it showcases some of the horror elements that players can expect. It looks more like a twisted version of Stranger Things that doesn’t hold back on the blood. With this in mind, proceed with minimal caution if monster blood tickles your stomach.
