It’s been a few weeks since PUBG was updated on the Xbox One.  The Xbox Game Preview version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is in desperate need of fixes and apparently they’re on the way.  With the game being left in a state of disarray after the February 7th release of Patch #8, those who’ve purchased the game are starting to wonder when fixes are coming.

According to PUBG’s Lead Community Manager, Update #9 is on the way.

“We plan to deploy the patch in the next couple of weeks,” says the developer.  “As you may know, we still need to go through cert after development for this patch is done.  And there might be delays if we run into any unexpected issues but we are doing our best to meet this deadline.”

PUBG on Xbox One continues to have both big and small problems at the moment and feels like its far from being a finished product.  There are plenty of issues that PUBG Corp have on their plate at the moment for the Xbox One version.  Frame Rate, Hit Detection, Network Connectivity, and game crashes are big issues that are still prevalent in the game.  But there are also little things as well, like the crashing sound that the boats make in the game that seem like they’d be smaller fixes for the developer, yet they have gone unfixed for weeks.

All that said, there’s still quite a ways to go for the Xbox One version of the game to get up to par with PC.  Xbox One owners are still wondering when the Miramar Desert Map will be coming to the game, which there doesn’t seem like a concrete timeline for at this point.
