Yasu Hiromoto announced a spinoff manga to the popular Fist of the North Star series. The new story will premiere later this year. The title of the series is Hokuto no Ken Gaiden: Taisen Ambia no Isekai Hao Denestsu- Isekai ni Itte ni Itte mo Ore wa Teensai da!!!, which can be translated to Even if I Go to Another World, I am a Genius!! Huh? I Was Mistaken…. Currently, the new series is about “a genius fighter exploring the new world”. The Fist of the North Star spinoff series will follow the main character named Ambia. Kenshiro defeats Ambia, who then finds himself transported to another world.

The story’s credited writer is Nokra Nishiki. Natto Gohan is the credited artist for the Fist of the North Star spinoff series. This is also not the first spinoff series of the franchise. Other titles include Soten no Ken: Regenesis by Hideki Tsuji and Hiryuki Yatsu. The other spinoff is titled Hokuto no Ken: Ichigo Aji by Yushi Kawata and Yukito the Younger. Both of these titles are still ongoing.
The Legacy of Fist of the North Star and its Spinoff
The original Fist of the North Star series is set in a world that is been destroyed by a nuclear war. The rest of humanity fights over the limited available resources. Following Kenshiro, who is the successor of an ancient material art of assassination called Hokuto Shinken. Kenshiro eventually goes on a journey to become the savior and king of the post-apocalyptic worked when his fiancée Yuria is taken from him.
Buronson and Tetsuo Hara are the creators of the original Fist of the North Star. The manga ran from 1983 to 1988 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. It is known as one of the most popular manga series of all time, selling over 100 million copies worldwide.
Currently, Even if I Go to Another World, I am a Genius!! Huh? I Was Mistaken… is expected to premiere on October 25.
