Jeffery Dahmer was an American serial killer from Wisconsin. Jeffery began his life of violent crime in the late 1970s and continued until the early 1990s. Unfortunately, he claimed the lives of a reported 17 victims before ultimately getting caught. The details of Dahmer’s crimes are unspeakable, and the judge sentenced him to fifteen life terms in 1992. He passed away two years later after a fight.
Jeffery Dahmer had been depicted in media several times. Ryan Murphy featured him as a character on a couple of episodes of American Horror Story. There is also the 2017 film, My Friend Dahmer, which starred Ross Lynch. However, the new Netflix series promises to be a full look at not only the crimes of Dahmer but how they impacted those around him, as we can hear from Nash’s character in the trailer.
This mini-series isn’t Netflix‘s first show about a well-known serial killer. The streaming giant released Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Vile in 2019. The series starred Zac Efron as Ted Bundy. Hopefully, the Dahmer series will have a better reaction when it lands on Netflix later this month.
