The long-rumored Avatar Generations has finally released its first official teaser trailer, revealing that the game will be a free-to-play mobile RPG set in the universe of Avatar: The Last Airbender. No official release date was provided, but pre-registrations are available right now on Google Play and the App Store.
What is Avatar Generations?
Avatar Generations is a free-to-play mobile RPG set in the universe of Avatar: The Last Airbender and the Legend of Korra. The game allows players to build a team of benders and characters from across the Avatar universe from both series, including Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, and Zuko.
The game allows teams to build from across different points in time as they journey across the Four Nations and aim to master the four elements.
The official description for Avatar Generations reads:
“Watch as Aang, Katara, Sokka, Zuko, Toph, and more take on enemies in this gameplay trailer for Avatar Generations, the upcoming free-to-play mobile RPG slated for release in early 2023. Pre-registration is available now for the game, which is based on the popular Nickelodeon television series Avatar: The Last Airbender.”
Turn-based, dynamic squad combat is the key to Avatar Generations‘ gameplay as seen in the trailer. Players will be able to assemble and customize their own team as they journey across the map and relive the most iconic moments from across the Avatar franchise.
The game was previously soft-launched in other Eastern countries back in August, likely for play-testing purposes, and is now being advertised in the West. No official Western release date has been confirmed, but the fame is expected to launch sometime in early 2023.
