Harmonix and Mad Catz have revealed the first tracks that will be in Rock Band 4 and they seem like a pretty solid tracklisting so far.
Fans of classic songs will be right at home as the first seven tracks revealed for the title have been shown to include some good ones like The Who and even more recent music like The Killers and Avenged Sevenfold are on the list. The tracks were revealed earlier today as apart of an IGN First.
- Avenged Sevenfold – “Hail to the King”
- Fleetwood Mac – “You Make Loving Fun”
- Jack White – “Lazaretto”
- The Killers – “Somebody Told Me”
- Spin Doctors – “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong”
- The Who – “The Seeker”
Rock Band 4 is being co-published between Mad Catz and Harmonix as a return of the classic franchise. Fans of the series will note that a few new cool features have been added such as the drummer counting in the band before the song starts, and even more for the drummer are the brand new drum fills to replace the old ones that are more player centric. The campaign for the solo players has been described as Rock Band RPG-like experience. It all sounds great and makes me giddy with anticipation as a fan.
Rock Band 4 is set to release later this year on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
