Respawn’s Star Wars game to make it’s debut at the Star Wars Celebration in Chicago.

With all of the recent news about Apex Legends, a lot of people seem to have forgotten that Respawn Entertainment has another title in the works, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which is planned for a 2019 release. However, we still haven’t seen anything about the new title. Thankfully, this will change as EA has announced that the first official gameplay reveal will take place on April 13 at the Star Wars Celebration event in Chicago.

It makes sense for the publisher to wait for this event to unveil more details about the game, as it is one of the longest running Star Wars convention in the United States, starting back in 1999. It’s been nearly a year since we first hear about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order where it was briefly revealed during that awkward interview with CEO Vince Zampella at E3 2018. Ever since then, their has been little to no mention of the game, which made us wonder if production had even begun at all.

Luckily, it seems that the title is well underway, and we won’t be waiting too long to see how far it’s come. After that, you’d have to imagine that EA will save the big reveals for this years E3 2019, using this Star Wars event as a launching pad to show off even more just a couple of months later. The publisher still hasn’t announced if they plan to bring back their annual EA Play event, but it’s more than likely that it will continue with more news in the coming weeks and months.
