The DC special on the Justice League just aired on the CW channel. It showed our first look at the Wonder Woman movie starring Gal Gadot. The film will be out in Summer 2017.
Even though it is more than a year away, we were treated to some of the first footage from the Wonder Woman movie. We not only see the character in battle, but we also see Diana Prince herself as well.
The movie is an origin story so we get to know more about the character. DC has stated in the past that she is older than most of the other characters in the DC universe. She is lucky that her appearance is still youthful though.
For those asking, the movie is set during the early 1900s. This is a unique setting for the film since most superhero movies are set in the present day. We also get to see what the actors think of the film as well.
Before Wonder Woman comes out, we will see the character first in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In that movie, she will meet up with Batman and Superman as she warns them about more dangers out there in the universe.
