Fire Emblem: Three Houses will get a new difficulty mode that is harder than the normal or hard mode.

Three Houses is the latest entry in the Fire Emblem series. The franchise is a tactical RPG based game series, and it was initially a Japanese only series. Games are now sold in the West and have slowly become one of Nintendo’s more prominent franchise.

Three Houses takes place in the fictitious land called Fódlan. Fódlan is divided into three houses that were once at war with each other, and are now in peace. You play as a mercenary, who becomes a teacher in a prestige military school. You will need to choose which house you want to be a part of, which determines what kind of characters you can recruit.

On Nintendo’s social media accounts, the company reveals that a free update will be coming to Fire Emblem: Three Houses at some point. The free update will include a new difficulty mode that is, according to Nintendo, “even harder” than the normal and hard mode in the game.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses currently has an impressive 88 percent at Metacritic, with several high profile websites like IGN and Polygon praising it. We recommended the game in our review. Stay tuned to Gamepur to learn more about Three Houses.
