Fire Emblem Heroes is releasing a brand new summoning banner featuring four new characters from Fire Emblem: Three Houses’ Church of Seiros faction on 10/19/2020.
Since the release of the critically acclaimed addition to the long time Fire Emblem franchise, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, fans have been wondering how long it will take for its beloved characters to transfer to the mobile game: Fire Emblem Heroes. Over the past year there has been several added characters from Three Houses, including main protagonist Byleth and the main lords you can choose to support in the game’s campaign: Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude. Although, one group of characters has been massively underrepresented, the staff members from the Church of Seiros. However, the church character drought is now over with the upcoming release of Seteth, Flayn, Catherine, and Shamir.
Seteth
Seteth is second-in-command to Arch Bishop, Lady Rhea, and a devoted follower of the Church of Seiros. He will be added to Fire Emblem Heroes as his classic flier unit and will enter battle astride his dark wyvern wielding the powerful “Spear of Assal”. Seteth is initially an apathetic advisor and can typically found in the company of Lady Rhea. This stoic yet powerful advisor should make an excellent addition to your army.
Flayn
Flayn is Seteth’s younger sister and a devoted follower of Lady Rhea/Church of Seiros. She will be added to Fire Emblem Heroes as a healing flier unit. It is worth noting that this is a relatively rare class seen in Fire Emblem Heroes. She will enter battle astride her pegasus wielding the powerful “Caduceus Staff”. Flayn will also come with two new abilities and skills including Deluge Balm and Rescue+. This sweet, innocent girl has been desperately trying to make friends with Byleth and the new students at the academy, so make sure to help integrate this valuable unit into your army.
Catherine
Catherine is a high ranking knight in the Church of Seiros’ army, the Knights of Sieros. She is utterly devoted to Lady Rhea’s protection and well being, but is mostly noted due to her ability to wield the legendary weapon “Thunderbrand”. While she will enter Fire Emblem Heroes as a typical sword-wielding unit, Thunderbrand gives her a unique edge. It is no secret that she may be the most desired unit in the upcoming banner.
Shamir
Last but not least is Shamir, an incredibly skilled archer with seemingly very little ties to the Knight’s of Seiros. Shamir will enter into Fire Emblem Heroes as an infantry archer. She will come with a unique “Survivalist Bow” and powerful skill “Rouse Atk/Spd 3”. Shamir was one of the most accessible character in Three Houses, being recruitable early on in the campaign. This cold hearted archer might just be the next great addition to your army.
Additional Fire Emblem Heroes Information
The Fire Emblem Heroes banner will update alongside a new story chapter, Triandra’s Dream, featuring the new characters. Seteth, Flayn, Catherine, and Shamir will all be voiced by the same voice actors from Three Houses. All of this will be available after tomorrow’s (October 19) update. I hope you have your orbs saved up to get one or all of your favorite characters from the Church of Seiros.
