Fire Emblem Engage Manga Details

Fire Emblem Engage officially launched for Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2023, as the latest entry in the iconic Fire Emblem franchise. The new manga adaptation will be published in the Japanese shonen manga magazine Saikyo Jump on February 3, 2023.

Saikyo Jump is owned by Shueisha, which itself is responsible for the distribution of much other popular manga series, such as Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, which will be receiving its 9th part in February as well. It will be released on February 17, 2023,  and will debut in March 2023 issue of Ultra Jump.

Serialized versions of the manga will begin with the distribution of the first chapter on March 3, 2023. From then, a new chapter will be launched each month.

It is unknown at this time how many chapters the manga will have in total, though the announcement suggests it will be a prologue to the main game. This means that the manga will most likely be fairly short, but that remains to be seen.

It will be written by Kazuro Kyou, a popular manga artist known for his work on Hime-dol!! and various one-shot mangas.

An official crossover between Fire Emblem Heroes and Fire Emblem Engage was also recently announced a few days before the game’s official launch. The event allows players to receive rewards and prizes for a limited time by redeeming codes in the Nintendo eShop that can be used across both mobile systems and the Switch.
