Whether your subscription has lapsed or you’re trying to drag your friends back into the game, now’s the perfect time as the Final Fantasy XIV Free Login Campaign returns. From November 18 to December 16, you can log into the game for free just by downloading and installing the game. Here’s how to take part in the FFXIV Free Login Campaign.

Returning players can claim four free days of play in FFXIV right now

To claim four free days of play in FFXIV, you’ll need to already have an account, and that account needs to have lapsed into inactivity. Here’s a quick reminder of the full requirements:

  • Have previously purchased and registered Final Fantasy XIV. All registered service accounts must be set as inactive during the campaign period. Registered service accounts must have been inactive for at least thirty days.

If your account meets all of these requirements, you can log in for free anytime between November 18, 2022, 12:00 am PT and December 16, 2022, 6:59 am (PT).

When does my free login period begin and end?

Your free login period will count for four calendar days from the day you first log in again. So, unfortunately, unless you log in at 00:01 am on your first day, you’ll probably not get four full days. Your free login period will end at 11:59 pm PT on your fourth day.

You’ll have to make sure your game is downloaded, but your free period won’t start until you log in on any platform. This includes Windows, Mac, PS5, PS4, and Steam. Once you log in on any platform, your timer will start running, so be careful!

Overall, this Free Login Campaign is perfectly timed if you’re looking for something to do this upcoming Thanksgiving and holiday period. Many folks have four days off around this time, so if you’ve been looking at jumping back into FFXIV this is the best way of doing it (or coaxing your friends back).
