Have your friends quit FFXIV? Need an incentive for them to come back? Well, Square Enix have you covered as they announce the Callback Campaign. As revealed in a tweet posted on September 7, the Callback Campaign has returned and will run from today until September 30.
To take part, all you need to do is log in and head to your Friends List. Right-click your friends’ names and select Invite to Return. They’ll then receive an email asking them to return to the game. When they return, they’ll receive 14 days (two weeks) of free game time, 99 aetheryte tickets for free teleports, and 10 Silver Chocobo feathers used to purchase high-level gear.
Players invited to return must have a service account that has been inactive for at least 90 days (including the free play period). Those who fail to meet this requirement will not receive an email even if they have been invited to return! Your friend must also have already purchased a full version of Final Fantasy XIV.
If anyone who you invited back subs within 90 days of returning, you’ll receive five Golden Chocobo feathers. This unique currency can usually only be obtained by taking part in the refer a friend scheme which awards Golden Chocobo feathers based on the amount of time a friend is subbed for.
You can redeem Golden Chocobo feathers for mounts, rare dyes, and aetheryte tickets. Full details are available on the official Final Fantasy XIV Lodestone website.
