Final Fantasy XIV 6.11a features a range of balance changes to the PvP battle system, with changes affecting several classes, including Bard, Machinist, Dancer, Black Mage, Summoner, and more. Elsewhere, Final Fantasy XIV 6.11a does away with automatic log-outs after 30 minutes of inactivity and will now match Crystal tier players with Diamond 3 or higher in Crystalline Conflict.

When registering for a match in Crystalline Conflict, players in the Crystal tier can now be matched with players who are Diamond 3 (with 1 Rising Star) or higher.

The following issues have been addressed.

  • An issue when playing as a paladin in PvE wherein the potency of Holy Spirit and Holy Circle did not increase when the player had one stack of Requiescat.
  • An issue wherein the description of the warrior PvP action Primal Scream failed to note the potency of Primal Rend and Chaotic Cyclone is increased while under the effect of Inner Release.
    • This is an issue only in the description. The action functions as intended.
  • An issue when playing as gunbreaker in PvP wherein the description of certain actions after executing Continuation while under the effect of Junction Healer failed to note the range of its healing effect is 15 yalms.
    • This is an issue only in the descriptions. The actions function as intended.
  • An issue wherein the description of the ninja PvP action Three Mudra failed to note the action changes to Meisui while under the effect of Three Mudra.
    • This is an issue only in the description. The action functions as intended.
  • An issue wherein attempting to execute the bard PvE action Wanderer’s Minuet multiple times in quick succession prevented players from queueing another action for execution.
  • An issue wherein the barrier potency listed in the description of the machinist PvP action Bishop Autoturret was incorrect.
    • This is an issue only in the description. The action functions as intended.
  • An issue wherein the description of the gunbreaker PvP action Terminal Trigger, the dancer PvP action Honing Dance, and the machinist PvP action Wildfire failed to note their attack radius is 5 yalms.
    • This is an issue only in the descriptions. The actions function as intended.
  • An issue in PvP wherein the additional effect of the redmage action Displacement erroneously increased the healing potency of the limit break Southern Cross.
  • Other minor text issues have also been addressed.
