Final Fantasy has had such an amazing track record these past few years. With Square Enix being able to push out consistent updates for Final Fantasy XIV and even shipping the much anticipated 15th installment, the speculation of what’s on the horizon is only becoming louder. Not to mention the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake which was a massive success. With the plans for the upcoming Final Fantasy XVI already in motion, Square has certainly not forgotten about the next parts in Cloud’s journey.
Trademarking a few new keywords such as Ever Crisis, the world of FF7 is more than likely about to get much bigger. Whilst it might be a bit longer before we fully understand Square’s plan, it seems that some news is coming soon. Co-director of FF7 Remake, Motomu Toriyama, announced on Twitter that special news is set to be revealed this Saturday at the Final Fantasy VII Remake Concert that will be streamed online.
FF7R Co-Director Toriyama’s message about the upcoming FF7R Orchestra Concert is VERY interesting. He mentions there will be a special small section of the concert where he will talk about some info about FF7R revealed only during the concert ?

What Could the Final Fantasy Concert Reveal?
Following the announcement last month about the in-person concert cancellation due to COVID-19, Square Enix definitely still has plans to showcase something to their audience that night. While the studio has mainly been silent about the game since its initial release last April, the time seems right for a well-needed upgrade. Most other PS4 titles have been receiving next-generation upgrades as well. Final Fantasy VII Remake is perfectly set for a PS5 upgrade with new 4k visuals. The game would do well with a graphical lift to higher heights. The upcoming announcement could also detail a PC port due to the project’s timed exclusivity. With all of the hype leading up to the second part in this Remakes journey, this year might be the biggest for Square Enix.
