Final Fantasy fans should be prepared to jump for joy as Square Enix has just announced that the anticipated Final Fantasy: Type-0 and Final Fantasy: Agito have been announced for North America and Europe.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is an HD version which will release on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The title which was originally released in Japan on the Playstation Portable in 2011 will finally make it westward on next-gen consoles. No price point or release date has been announced for Final Fantasy Type 0.
Final Fantasy: Agito which also released in Japan has been confirmed for western release on iOS and Android mobile devices. Agito allows you to create a unique Final Fantasy character from the ground up and fully customize it the way you want. Players will interact with each other and other NPC characters from the world of Final Fantasy Type-0 which will affect the entire network. Players will also be able to go out on missions to level up and gather resources to craft their ultimate weapon as well as participate in large scale cooperative battles online.

No word yet on the timing of either title but let’s hope it releases by the end of the year.
