After rumors, practically since the game first launched on PS4 in 2020, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade has finally been announced for PC. The game will be coming to PC via the Epic Game Store next week, on December 16. So, PC Final Fantasy fans don’t have long to wait at all. Fans practically begged for a remake of Final Fantasy 7 for years before Square Enix finally released the game as a PS4 exclusive in 2020. However, the way the publisher went about it raised a few eyebrows. Despite the title, Final Fantasy 7 Remake isn’t the full remake of the original PS1 game. The game was originally intended to be split up into two parts. That later changed to three parts but the developers are even uncertain about that. It’s entirely possible the remake balloons up from there. That being said, Final Fantasy 7 Remake was one of 2020’s highest-rated and best-received games. Critics praised how the game had been expanded and how the story had been fleshed out despite technically only being the first portion of the original game.

PC gamers can rejoice at the relatively light specs, particularly for the minimum. Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is the PS5 enhanced edition of the game that was released earlier this year and that’s the version coming to PC. That explains needing a GTX 1080 or RX 5700 for the recommended. Although it seems Square has been able to bring along the lower-end version that appeared on the PS4 last year for fans with older graphics cards. The GTX 780 is coming up to its ninth birthday let’s not forget. That’s great news, especially for anyone who is still struggling to find a new graphics card.
