FIFA 23 had an interesting situation where FUT Hero Pack was available for only 25,000 credits. To make everything even more strange, those players were tradeable! Some hero cards can be worth over 2,000,000, so a massive influx of those cards has crashed the market. EA realized what was done relatively quickly, so the packs were gone quickly. But that was enough time to deal severe damage to the Transfer Market.

The situation is very odd, as some FIFA players have got great players for pennies, while others are mad that they are now disadvantaged, as they’ve missed that opportunity to get some of the highest-rated players in FIFA 23. Also, Transfer market prices have dropped significantly, as many cards lost their value now that many players were selling them.

At the moment of writing, EA didn’t have an official statement regarding this situation. The only comment coming from the FIFA Twitter account was regarding pre-order packs. Interestingly, the Hero Packs issue is still not addressed, so players still don’t know if, when, and how they will be compensated.
