FIFA 22 has today launched title update 5 on PC and Stadia platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. First of all, it’s important to note that while fans on consoles won’t have to wait long for the update, as these updates usually head to other platforms within a week or two of dropping on PC and Stadia. With that being said though, today’s update isn’t anything worth jumping for joy over. See, while this change is nice, there’s a single change with title update 5. It seems like a weird thing to call a title update, but if that’s what EA wants to do, that’s what they’ll do. Without further adieu, here are the patch notes for FIFA 22 title update 5!
FIFA 22 Title Update 5 Patch Notes
Made the following change:
- Increased the likelihood of a player retaining the ball after intercepting or blocking a Ground Pass.
- This change has no effect on how often Ground Passes are intercepted and blocked, it only impacts the outcome of interceptions and blocks.
Yes, that really is all that’s changed. And while the likelihood of a player retaining the ball after intercepting a Ground Pass being increased isn’t a bad addition to the game, it isn’t all that exciting. The team didn’t go into any further details within the patch notes themselves, instead opting to let players know that they can report any issues or bugs they find with the game on their social media or through the game’s official forums (found at the patch notes below). If there’s issues you’re having with the game that have yet to be fixed, going that route is likely your best bet. Regardless, let’s hope title update 6 brings just a bit more content to be excited about.
