The EA Access and Origin Access programs are both adding another new game to “The Vault”, the selection of free games that members can download and play at no additional cost. The game is FIFA 16 and it will arrive in The Vault on April 19th, allowing subscribers to the services to grab the game for free and play it as long as they have an active membership.
Games in The Vault are the full experience, not a toned down demo or anything, and as long as you keep an active subscription, you can download and play the title as much as you’d like. Subscriptions to EA and Origin Access cost $4.99 a month, with EA Access having a discounted yearly subscription for $29.99.
“FIFA 16 will be coming to The Vault for EA Access on Xbox One and Origin Access members on PC beginning April 19,” reads the announcement from EA. “FIFA 16 innovates across the entire pitch to deliver a balanced, authentic, and exciting football experience that lets you play your way. You’ll have Confidence in Defending, take Control in Midfield, and produce more Moments of Magic than ever before.”
So far there are over 15 games in the EA Access Vault, so subscribers are getting a pretty decent deal if they plan to play any of those titles. These include The Witcher 3, Madden NFL 15, Titanfall, Battlefield: Hardline, and many more.
