In Final Fantasy XIV, there’s a series of events that happen throughout the year that seem to be parallels of real-world events, such as last month’s Heavensturn event that was an equivalent of our New Year’s holiday. This newest event has Valentione’s Day and Little Ladies’ Day in a tight little cluster to celebrate love and happiness in the world of Eorzea with some short tasks that you can complete for items and other such rewards. Valentione’s Day is currently on, starting on February 10, 2021, and will continue until February 21. Little Ladies’ Day, however, will be running from February 21 until March 8. The main alliance hubs will all have different decorations through the two events, as well.
Preparing for Valentione’s Day and Little Ladies’ Day
To participate in these events, you will need to update your client to version 5.45, have at least one job at level 15, and have completed the “The Gridanian Envoy”, “The Ul’dahn Envoy” or “The Lominsan Envoy” quests.
For the events, you’ll be able to participate by finding Lisette de Valentione in Old Gridania at Mih Khetto’s Amphitheater (10.2,9.4). The next in the chain will have you seeking out an NPC named Elyne in the East Shroud at The Honey Yard (9.4,23.4). Completing these will get you the achievement “Celebrating in Sync” and will give you access to the Lovely Moogle Cap and the furniture item Stuffed Kupka Kupp.

This series of events should really be undertaken if you’re looking to get the cosmetics as the items don’t really provide an advantage in the game and are just a great deal of fun and provide a hat that’s really cool to glamor for. I’ve always liked going through these seasonal events for the achievements, myself, but that cap just looks way too cute to pass up. Will you be participating? What are your thoughts on the event?
