Final Fantasy XIV recently updated their game with patch 5.4, possibly one of the larger content updates of the year. With content updates like this, we get a variety of added balance, tweaks, and job changes and this one is no different. While Monk is getting the most love this time around, some other jobs are getting some changes as well and it would appear that the general theme is added potency, which I am certainly here for.
One should always note that these job changes shouldn’t really affect rotations or gameplay too much and that this is likely a series of changes to reflect the needs of these roles in the new content, with the exception of Monk, where the dynamic of combat for them has really changed so some reflection on these changes is greatly suggested as well as hanging out with a Training Dummy to see how it might change how you do rotations.
