“Hildibrand Adventures” is a series of questlines starring Hildibrand Manderville, an agent of inquiry, and his faithful assistant, Nashu Mhakaracca, spanning from the A Realm Reborn to Endwalker expansion of Final Fantasy XIV MMO. Hildibrand’s zany adventures have become fan favorites thanks to its comedic stories and sought-after rewards, such as the Most Gentlemanly and Manderville Mambo Emotes. If you want to start acting as cool as our suave inspector, here’s how you can find, start, and eventually complete all “Hildibrand Adventures” quests in various FFXIV expansions.

Hildibrand Quests (Level 50/A Realm Reborn)

To begin the FFXIV Hildibrand adventure and quests, first, complete the A Realm Reborn base game that ends with the “The Ultimate Weapon” Main Scenario Quest (MSQ). While running the questline, you’ll unlock and have to clear the Battle on the Big Bridge, The Dragon’s Neck, and Battle in the Big Keep eight-player Trial Quests.

Going through and finishing this questline will reward you with Manderville Dance Emote, a Wind-up Gentleman Minion, and the Most Gentlemanly Emote.

Complete all the previous questline, then blast through the Heavensward expansion, ending with the “Heavensward” MSQ. Completing this questline will reward you with the Gigi Minion.

Like before, you must complete the previous questlines to keep following the inspector extraordinaire’s wacky hijinks. Then get into the Stormblood expansion and finish the “Stormblood” MSQ. You’ll need to clear the Kugane Ohashi eight-player trial; then, you’ll be able to get the Manderville Mambo Emote.

Hildibrand didn’t come back for Shadowbringers expansion, but thankfully his shenanigans returned in Endwalker starting in patch 6.15, Newfound Adventure. As usual, clear the previous questlines and the last MSQ, “Endwalker,” to begin the new adventure.
