FFXIV: Endwalker, there is a sidequest called “Studium Deliveries” where T’laqa Tia will send you all over Eorzea to catch some fish. This quest is considered to be a pretty good source of EXP for crafters and gatherers, however as with most “find X item” fetch quests, some of the fishes can be hard to locate. If you are looking to catch Garjana Wrasse in FFXIV: Endwalker, then look no more, this guide will help you find the exact spot and things you need to remember to catch the fish.
FFXIV: Endwalker – Garjana Wrasse Location
In the FFXIV: Endwalker expansion, once you’re done with the “Sound the Bell, School’s In” Main Scenario Quest, you can get the “Studium Deliveries” sidequest where you need to fish a variety of fishes from T’laqa Tia (X: 4.2 Y: 9.5), the Fisher Studium Quest giver, in Old Sharlayan. One of those fishes you need to catch is Garjana Wrasse.
To fish a Garjana Wrasse in FFXIV: Endwalker, you need to level your Disciple of Land Fishing Level to level 83 first. Then head on over to the Great Runoff, Thavnair. The Great Runoff is the waters surrounding the Great Work Aetheryte (X 10.4, Y 22.4). You also need a Shrimp Ball as the bait, which you can buy from any Junkmongers in Thavnair or Labyrinthos for 69 Gil. Once you set up your fishing rod there, wait until ‘!!’ (two exclamation points) appear above your character’s head, or wait for about 14 seconds once you got a medium tug to your fishing rod. Don’t forget to keep Patience II up at all times to make catching Garjana Wrasse easier as well as increase the amount of XP you get.
