February is typically known for Groundhog Day, Valentine’s Day, Presidents Day, and Mardi Gras. February is a time for celebration, romance, and sales. With spring just around the corner, certain flowers are getting close to blooming. Although flowers are planted, February is known for roses and chocolate. This last weekend, Pokemon Go trainers had the opportunity to catch a shiny Machop. Trainers could then evolve their Machops into Machokes. Unlike its console counterparts, trainers have two options to evolve their Machoke into Machamp, evolve with candies or evolve a traded one. Now, Niantic has revealed the February Community Day Pokemon, Roselia.

On February 7, 2021, Pokemon Go trainers will have the opportunity to catch a shiny Roselia. Roselia is the rose Pokemon from the Hoenn region. For those who don’t know regions by name, trainers explore the Hoenn region in Ruby and Sapphire. A shiny version of Roselia is already available in Pokemon Go. During February’s community day, shiny Roselias will be more prominent.
