Far Cry 6 is now out on all major platforms, with players quickly flocking to the world of Yara to see all it has in store. In the shoes of either a male or female Dani Rojas, it’s your goal to bring together the Libertad resistance group and strike back at the tyrannical Anton Castillo. As you’re on your adventures, you’ll find many secrets include treasure hunts to solve. In this guide specifically, I tell you how exactly you can complete The Long Drop treasure hunt in Far Cry 6!

How to Complete The Long Drop Treasure Hunt in Far Cry 6

First of all, you have to reach this Treasure Hunt. To do so, head to the Southwest corner of La Joya, located in the El Este region of Yara. You’ll know you’ve reached the right location when you reach a dam of sorts. There will be some paper in a box, next to a locked door. This will begin The Long Drop, and see Dani have to find a worker currently working at the dam. You don’t have to look far, as the worker is about to fall from the hole in the dam. Unfortunately, before you can rescue them, they fall and die on the below concrete. Conveniently as well, they hold the key you need to open that locked door.

This is where most of you are stuck, and there’s a good reason for that. The game slips you down the waterfall too fast to grab the key in most cases, which can make this a challenge. While it’ll be a tough grab no matter how you go about grabbing the key, I found it easier to use the grapple above to get my way down to him without falling too fast. Either way, once you finally grab the key, make your way back to the locked door. You can now open it and steal the spoils inside, including the powerful Excavation Execution shotgun!
