The second major DLC for the latest Far Cry installment will be launching next week. Pagan: Control, which is also part of the Season Pass, will insert players into the shoes of Far Cry 4‘s villain, Pagan Min. This expansion is an immediate follow-up to the previous villain DLC, Vaas: Insanity, where players took on the role of Vaas Montenegro.

Your Guilt Will Bring the Death of You in Pagan: Control

In Pagan: Control, Pagan Min is caught between a rock and a hard place as he battles the many demons within his head. Coupled with familiar trouble from faces he wishes to forget, the new DLC will bring fresh story content that will continue to flesh out the famous villain. The game is stylized with a similar structure to Vaas: Insanity, where roguelike elements are implemented into the gameplay to complement the psychological action. Expect fantastical visuals with a dark and sinister twist as you’re just jumping into the minds of these wretched foes.

While there is no official trailer for the DLC itself, there is the Far Cry 6 Season Pass trailer, which gives us a brief glimpse. We don’t know much of what Pagan will encounter, but it looks like he’ll have some fun getting into trouble.

Pagan: Control is part of the Far Cry 6 Season Pass, and it will be available on January 11, 2022, for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and Google Stadia. Players must own Far Cry 6 in order to gain access to the Pagan: Control DLC. In addition to Pagan Min’s DLC, Joseph: Collapse will also be releasing later this year, so be sure to keep an eye out for its launch window.
