Far Cry 6 is just around the corner, releasing October 7 on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Stadia, and Luna platforms. In just a month, we’ll be venturing into the world of Yara and stepping into the shoes of Dani Rojas as they fight to liberate the people from a ruthless dictator, Anton Castillo. If you’re curious whether you can run the game though, we’re here to help. Here are the full PC system requirements for Far Cry 6, as per the official Far Cry Twitter account.

For those curious, Ubisoft has also provided a full set of system requirements for 1440p, 1440p with ray-tracing, and 4K with ray-tracing above. It’s important to note though that, given the power needed to run these sorts of specs, the system requirements are very high. Far Cry 6 is a great-looking game as shown in its recent trailers, and thus will need some powerful hardware if it’s to run smoothly. In fact, you’ll need the all too rare RTX 3080 if you’re to get 30FPS at 4K, a testament to how beautiful the game will look at highest settings (with ray-tracing of course). And while SSDs are recommended, it’s nice that HDDs can work too. Just be ready for much longer loading times.
