The Summer of Gaming event is still underway. With E3 currently canceled, each developer in the video game industry is having the opportunity to show their games over a four-month span rather than a week-long event. This weekend, Ubisoft and Devolver are currently on deck to show what is next for their respective companies within the next few years. At the moment, it is expected that Devolver will show new gameplay for Fall Guys, Disc Room, and even something for My Friend Pedro. Ubisoft, on the other hand, is expected to showcase footage for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, and now Far Cry 6.

Although Devolver will provide the world with fun Indie Games, many eyes will be watching to see what Ubisoft has to offer. Each year Ubisoft makes a spectacle of its press conference and we expect that Ubisoft Forward will be no exception. At the moment, Ubisoft has announced that they will be showcasing new footage for Valhalla and Legion; it is highly unlikely that Ubisoft will not reveal more upcoming titles during their press conference. We can easily expect that Far Cry, Just Dance, Rainbow Six, and the Rabbids will appear.

Earlier today, a posting for Far Cry 6 showed up on the Hong Kong PlayStation Store. This posting revealed Breaking Bad and Mandalorian star Giancarlo Esposito on the Far Cry 6 cover art.  Earlier this year, Esposito teased that he was currently working on an upcoming video game.

Based on the listing, Far Cry 6 is scheduled to be released on February 18th, 2021. The game will take place in Yara, a tropical paradise that could use a loving touch. How will the player overthrow the ruthless dictator, Anton Castillo, and son Diego to spark a revolution?

Hopefully, Far Cry 6 will receive more praise than Far Cry New Dawn did in 2019. The picture below provides a little bit more detail all but confirming the game’s existence.
