There are 53 achievements in Far Cry 6 totalling 1000 points. The achievements range all the way from progressing through the main story to blowing up anti-aircraft cannons. There is even an achievement to pet Guapo. The Hidden in Plain Sight achievement is worth 30 Gamerscore, making it a notable target for players trying to complete most or all of the achievements in the game. However, it is easy to miss if you are not actively trying to complete it. By the end of this guide, you will learn how to unlock the Hidden in Plain Sight achievement in Far Cry 6.
How to Unlock the Hidden in Plain Sight Achievement
To unlock Hidden in Plain Sight, you must find your way to Miami. You need to trigger the secret ending in the game after completing the “Libertad Rises” prologue mission. Firstly, you must retrieve a boat or chopper from a vehicle pickup spot. Once you get your vehicle, you need to leave the map. You can do this by either flying or driving your boat to the edge of the map. You will be prompted with a message telling you that you are leaving Yara and to turn around. Rather than listening to this warning and turning around, continue heading out of the map.
After leaving the map, you will see the Hidden in Plain Sight trophy appear in the corner of your screen. You will also be prompted with a cutscene showing you the secret ending to Far Cry 6. Once the cutscene ends and the credits finish rolling, you will return to your last save where you can resume your adventure. However, it is important to note that this achievement is missable. If you finish the main story before attempting this, you will not be able to unlock this. This means you will need to start a new game to complete it!
