Depleted Uranium is one of the most important resources to find in Far Cry 6. Not least of all because Depleted Uranium allows players to buy new Supremo weapons, the ultra-powerful special weapons available in the game.

How to Find Depleted Uranium in Far Cry 6

After finding the first source of Depleted Uranium during Far Cry 6’s story, players will be able to find other sources of the rare material around Yara. Depleted Uranium can be found near Anti-Aircraft Cannons across the map. When taking down an Anti-Aircraft Cannon be sure to look out for the bright yellow crate with the radiation symbol on it. When close enough, the crates will appear on the mini-map so they aren’t too difficult to spot. Once you find the crate, simply open it up to obtain the Depleted Uranium inside.

Depleted Uranium can be used to buy Supremo backpacks which cost 100 Depleted Uranium each. Since each Anti-Aircraft Cannon location contains one crate and each crate contains 50 Depleted Uranium that means you will need to take out two cannons per Supremo unlock. There are only 26 Anti-Aircraft cannons in the game so be sure to spend your Depleted Uranium wisely. Besides Supremo backpacks, Depleted Uranium can also be spent on powerful Resolver weapons. Resolver weapons are unique Guerilla improvised weapons made from the materials that are available to Juan Cortez and the rest of the Guerillas. There are a wide variety of Resolver weapons from the Tostador flamethrower to the incredible La Varita X-Ray gun that can shoot through walls.

Most Resolver weapons can be bought from Juan and, like the Supremo backpacks, they also cost 100 Depleted Uranium each. Between the Supremo backpacks and the Resolver weapons, it is certainly worthwhile to go and hunt down some Anti-Aircraft Cannons.

Far Cry 6 is available now on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
