Far Cry 6 is now available, and with it comes plenty to do across the world of Yara. While you can obviously take on Anton Castillo’s army and seek to stop the ruthless dictator, there’s plenty of secrets to uncover as well. These mainly come in the form of various Treasure Hunt events that exist across the world, coming with a series of puzzles to complete. In this guide, I explain how to complete one of the more complex Treasure Hunt events, titled Parting Gifts, in Far Cry 6!

How to Complete the Parting Gifts Treasure Hunt in Far Cry 6

For starters, you can find this Treasure Hunt on the east of the Conuco region of El Este. This is located in a small farmer’s camp, with a box showcased in the above image housing the premise for this Treasure Hunt. The nearby building is completely on fire, and a storage room adjacent to it houses a special gift for one Dani Rojas. To get into it though takes some effort, hence why you’re probably here getting the solution.

First off, you want to get a nearby generator. To free it, head into the building next to the generator and disconnect it from two machines on the walls. Trust me, you can’t miss the bright orange cables. After doing so, you’ll need to attach it to the nearby blue truck (convoluted answer, I know) and drive it over to the nearby open hut. If you’re having trouble finding it, then feel free to use the below image of my beautiful parking job.

As you can assume from the screenshot, you’ll need to back the generator into the hut. This will power the nearby water pump (large blue tanker to the left of the hut). Simply turn the valve and the fire will be put out! Now, head inside the building that was burning and head to the back wall.

Here, you’ll find a vent you can peek through, and eagle-eyed players may spot a lock in the ceiling. Shoot that, then head to the roof to find an open hatch. Inside you’ll find a key, which lets you finally open the storage room. After collecting the goods, you will finally have completed the Parting Gifts Treasure Hunt in Far Cry 6!
