The highly-anticipated return of Vaas Montenegro has finally arrived for Far Cry 6. Starting now, players can delve into the deepest corners of madness with Vaas: Insanity through any platform hosting Far Cry 6.

Did I Ever Tell You About the Expansion of Vaas: Insanity?

A big part of Ubisoft’s Season Pass for Far Cry 6 includes three individual villain DLCs. For the first release, we have Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3. Always revered as one of gaming’s most recognizable villains, the character would propel the franchise into the spotlight. Coupled with Michael Mando‘s thrilling performance, the series would continue the tradition of including a stand-above-all antagonist.

In Vaas: Insanity, the player steps into the shoes of this iconic villain. Vaas will be dealing with an inner voice that continues to torment him. This voice forces him to try and kill Jason, the protagonist from Far Cry 3. Through a series of bizarre dreamscapes, Vaas must battle his insanity if he seeks ultimate freedom in modern roguelike fashion. The release of Vaas: Insanity comes with a launch trailer that goes a little deeper into what you just read. Be sure to check it out right here.

If you have a friend who also owns Far Cry 6 on the same family of platforms, they’ll be able to jump in without owning the DLC. Players who own the Season Pass will have access to Vaas: Insanity as well as the other two upcoming villain DLCs: Pagan Min and Joseph Seed. Min’s DLC will be entitled Control; Seed’s DLC will be named Collapse.
