Far Cry 6 is coming at the beginning of next year, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait until 2021 to pick it up.
If you do decide to pick up Far Cry 6, there are all kinds of different editions. That means there’s a ton of different reasons to preorder one over another.
The retailer being what it is, the weirdest part about this preorder is that you’ll actually save a bit more than $10. In fact, you’ll save $10.05.
I’ve never been able to understand that particular approach. I don’t think it’s a code that needs to be cracked, to be honest.
I’m assuming it has something to do with the tax and potential shipping costs. Whatever the rationale, you’ll be able to preorder Far Cry 6 and save a chunk of change.
This is far from the first time the company has done this. Allowing this kind of promotion for upcoming releases is becoming the norm.
It’s a special benefit that can garner big support from people who are also Prime subscribers. That means you don’t have to play anything for shipping and you should be able to get Far Cry 6 the day it comes out.
The downside, as is always the case these days, is you won’t have the digital version. That’s preferable for some people, while others don’t like having to mess with keeping track of a disc.
Far Cry 6 is due to hit the Xbox One, Series X, PS4, PS5 and PC on February 18, 2021.
