Far Cry 6 has officially launched, letting players finally set foot in the shoes of either a male or female Dani Rojas. As Dani, you’ll work with the local militia of Libertad to stop the tyrannical Anton Castillo from destroying the livelihoods of fellow Yarans. As you progress, you may destroy various checkpoints to weaken Anton’s strength over a particular region. One of these checkpoints is the Aguda Cliffs checkpoint, but some are having trouble getting said checkpoint’s key. No need to worry as, in this guide, I tell you exactly how to get the Aguda Cliffs checkpoint key (and how to fix a particular bug you may be experiencing) in Far Cry 6!
How to Get the Aguda Cliffs Checkpoint Key in Far Cry 6
First of all, let’s go over how to normally get the key. When getting to the checkpoint, you’ll have to take out all of the guards present. This can either be done through the loud and dangerous approach or by stealthily executing each one. No matter how you choose to go about this, you’re looking for an officer. This is an enemy with a yellow health bar. Take them out, and they’ll drop the key for the Aguda Cliffs checkpoint. Once all guards are dead, destroy the billboard and the checkpoint will be liberated! Then, you can use the key on the armored checkpoint door to steal the loot inside.

Now, for the reason most of you are likely here. Some players have been reporting that the checkpoint key is not dropping for them. That’s understandably quite frustrating, but there’s a more straightforward approach that makes this much less challenging. First of all, you want to equip some sort of explosive, this could be a Supremo, dynamite, or whatever’s easiest to acquire. Then, fire or throw it at the door and it’ll blow it up, letting you score whatever’s inside. I get that this is a bit frustrating, but unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of other options. Either way, hope you enjoy your spoils located within!
