Far Cry 5 is going to use Denuvo Anti-Tamper protection. Denuvo is a controversial DRM solution that was not appreciated before due to its impact on the system performance. However, a lot of companies had used the Denuvo to protect their game from piracy. Ubisoft has used it on Assassins Creed Origins and upcoming game Dragon Ball FighterZ was also reported to have this DRM according to various news sources.

For Far Cry 5, it is confirmed it is going to have Denuvo on PC according to the news source DSO Gaming. the info came out from PC-EULA agreement where it is clearly mentioned the game will have the DRM solution. However, it has been in the recent news that games which had the anti-tamper protection were still vulnerable to piracy.

Far Cry 5 PC system requirements have also revealed. The specs will allow players to have 1080p resolution and 4K output of this game. The specs are announced, below you can see minimum config to run the game, recommended and two under 4K where you can get 30fps and 60fps depending on the hardware requirement.

Minimum Requirements: You can get 720p resolution on minimum requirements but you have to set the settings “LOW” under video presets.

4K 60 FPS Requirements: You can get 2160p resolution on this requirement, you have to set the settings to “HIGH/ULTRA” under video presets.
