He said fans walked out on him during a break in the concert where he talked about being queer. Also, the venue manager where the 31-year-old singer performed took sides with the fans. The Miami-born music star shared an email that was received by his manager.
The venue manager was unimpressed with David Archuleta for causing fans to walk out during his show for talking about his sexuality. As seen in the mail, the VM feels the singer picked the wrong time and venue for the topic.
But the American Idol claims that this tour hasn’t been the easiest for him, and part of the ways he finds peace is to be open about his journey. He hopes people will accept him for who he is. But many feel that he shouldn’t ruin concerts with his sexuality talk. People came out for fun and not his sexuality. Agree?

However, the iCarly star maintains that he didn’t do or say anything inappropriate, so the crowd was wrong for bailing on him. He appreciated the few that remained afterward, saying it was worth it to him.
Although the fans that walked out of the show felt David Archuleta ruined the Christmas spirit, he remains unfettered. He doesn’t think sharing his journey ruined anything. The singer blames them for allowing their misconception to interfere.
