There was a fan-made trailer between Pokémon and Fortnite that went viral on social media over the weekend, however, it isn’t actually happening. The trailer itself was made by a YouTuber under the user of FeraalsVFX. With the fake trailer getting so much hype for those who thought it was official, it might actually make Fortnite want to do a crossover, which would be really cool if it happened.

Pokémon and Fortnite Crossover

With Ash’s journey coming to an end in the Pokémon anime, there have been so many fans on the edges of their seats to see what the world might do to honor him and his legacy. At the end of this month, Ash’s final Pokémon episodes will premiere…which is an extremely emotional experience as this series has been with many since their childhood. After the famous Pokémon anime series finale, there will be a new Pokémon anime beginning, and many fans speculate that the new protagonist might just be Ash’s daughter.

This fan-made trailer first kicks off with Peely riding around on a dirt bike right before seeing Ash and Pikachu. Then Ash throws out a Charizard that uses a fireball to destroy a nearby semi-truck. If you watch the trailer for the first time without knowing it is not official, you would definitely think it is a teaser trailer for the next Fortnite update without a doubt. Having a crossover between Pokémon and Fortnite wouldn’t just bring us amazing skins but also back items and gliders, pickaxes, and more. All of the adorable Pokemon stuff we know and love in a game many of us love. However, Pokémon is a very family-friendly game that probably wouldn’t want to be included in a gun-related game. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is available on the Nintendo Switch, and Fortnite is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S
