No More Robots (known for Descenders and Yes, Your Grace) and Broken Bear Games have announced Family Man, a Breaking Bad-inspired RPG. The game will be releasing exclusively to PC through Steam on May 22nd for $19.99. To celebrate the announcement, the game has a free demo known as Family Man: Prologue available for free. If that sounds interesting to you, you can check out the demo and the full game here! No More Robots took to their social media to announce the game and its release date.

Family Man puts you in the shoes of Joe, a man with a family of his own. Through some unknown acts, Joe is now indebted to his family and must find a way to pay the mafia before they come for him. You’ll have the choice of either earning an honest living or taking a more nefarious route for some extra cash. All of your actions will affect how those around you interact with you, so be careful with what you do. How far are you willing to go to support your family if it means breaking some morals? It’s up to you to decide.

The game takes place in the town of Riverport, which features many locations in a cartoonish art style. You’ll be visiting all these locations as you venture through Joe’s story. As you’d expect, each will have its part to play and determine who Joe is. Family Man shares a lot of similarities to Breaking Bad, which should be great when Breaking Bad fans get the chance to play it. Considering the infamy of that show, this game has some big shoes and lots of inspiration behind it which should hopefully make for a better experience. The game seems focused a lot on choice and morality, and it’ll be exciting to see how that was depicted when Family Man releases later this month.
