Jonathan Nolan is also set to executive produce the Fallout series alongside Lisa Joy who was the other co-creator on Westworld. The pair will be joined by executive producers Todd Howard from Bethesda Game Studios and James Altman, who is currently the director of publishing operations at Bethesda Softworks. Along with creating Westworld, Nolan also directed the HBO series’ pilot episode, its season 1 finale, and its season 3 premiere episode. Nolan continues to produce the sci-fi western with Lisa Joy as the show heads into season 4.

Nolan and Joy released a statement when the new series was first announced:
Unfortunately, there is no announced release date for the Fallout TV series. So, for those itching to experience the franchise, the most current game is Fallout 76. The game had a rocky start but has gotten better with updates. It is an online RPG that was released on October 23, 2018 and continues to receive expansions.
